There is nice counter space and tons of storage.
This has a living room area which we didn't have in our little 21-foot fifth wheel.
The bedroom in the fifth wheel.
The outside...with a husband's butt hanging out.
We decided to move to a different spot in the RV park as well.
Bob's walking it down to the new spot.
Backing it in...
Lining up...
And there it is in it's new spot.
We didn't move far...just three spots down.
Getting moved...
Bob's looking at the inverter under the couch. The couch folds out into a double bed.
We moved the important stuff first...the TV!
Getting my kitchen set up...
The above picture is the porch that will be going in under the awning and as you can all tell, the animals have staked out their spots.
We're still moving in and I'll be cooking from Uruaguay just as soon as we're settled in.
PEACE!
Cute new digs! Congrats on your new home.
ReplyDeleteThanks, MommaSue...it truly has been a long, long time since we could stretch out!
Deletecongratulations to you & Bob & the furbabies!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brooke!! This was one of those "too good to pass up" opportunities and I'm glad we were able to take advantage of it with the help of some cool friends!
DeleteLove it for you!!! I would love it for me! Congrats girl.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dee...we're totally digging it, too. It's still not as big as a house, but we can definitely stay here long term.
DeleteWooHoo! Too good to be true...so happy for you!! Things are looking up...for you, Bob and the Pup...and the rest of the furries too!
ReplyDeleteDon't say that, bunky!!! LOL! We definitely want this to be absolutely true! Thanks, I appreciate it.
DeleteI just found you via Facebook:) My hubby and I are in the process of getting our place ready to sell and start RVing full time. We are both newly retired and can't wait. I will be sneaking over and reading about your tips and other stuffs often:) (now following via GFC:)
ReplyDeleteNow I am hopping over to follow via Facebook also;)
PS I am so jealous!
Hi Evelyn...thank you so much for stopping by and following Baked Lava!! I'm no expert on RV life, but if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them for you and if I can't, my husband, Bob, usually can. :) You get the best of both worlds!!
DeleteYay! A bigger place. And most important: a bigger kitchen! If you are anything like me you will soon have every new space filled and wonder how you ever lived in a smaller space! I swear all the junk multiplies when you aren't looking lol! Are you bringing all your containers to the new spot as well? Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristin...NO! I'm not bringing those over, we're revamping the garden situation. I have some killer ideas and some new planter boxes that came along with the trailer. I hope you have an awesome weekend, too!! I'll talk to you soon!
DeleteI like 5th wheels - they have way more room! We lived full time in our 34 foot motor-home and I had a blast in it. I could very easily go back to living that way, and just might one day - who knows. Right now we are blessed to own our home; thanks to my parents who provided this for my sister and I after their passing. We just bought my sister's half out. When we first lived here at the house, it was too big for us. Now we have 2 adult sons living back with us. One day, though I'd like to have a piece of land, and stick the RV out there and maybe just live.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame though, that it costs so doggone much to go anywhere in the RV. It's cheaper to fly! :-)
Congratulations. I love that lifestyle and miss it very much!
Hey d marie!! We're cheap...we don't travel. We've been in this park for the last 4 years. The space rent is great and it includes all the basic, necessary utilities, so we've not really looked elsewhere.
DeleteEnjoy your new home (looks like you will). I am house hunting at the moment too, and really wish I was moving just three spots away and not back across the Atlantic!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

Back across the Atlantic?? Where to? That actually sounds way more exciting than what we're doing!! We're moving one box at a time. Bob packs it from the old place and I unpack and send him back for another. Slow and steady. Right back atcha on having a great weekend!!
DeleteCongrats on your move to a bigger place... Your blog brings back memories of my Aunt and Uncle (both have passed). When they came to visit, they'd pull up their Fifth Wheel in front of our house... My cousin would bring his dog Bear with them who was a black lab and could clear the thing in an instant with his farts... Everyone would run out! Lol ~ Fun times!
ReplyDeleteYou know, Traci...I just had deja vu reading your comment. Puppa has gotten terrible farts ever since we started him on potassium bromide for his epilepsy...HOLY CAT! That dog can FART!!
DeleteCongrats to you, Bob & the furry babies!! I can imagine how excited you must be to get started in that new, HUGE kitchen! Can't wait to see how you're going to transfer your new garden! XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteA lot of it is NOT coming over here, Pyrowidow. I'm going to concentrate more on what really grows well in containers and less on experimenting this year now that I have a good idea of what's what. My strawberries have multiplied like rabbits, my raspberry bush is growing runners. All of my herbs need to be replanted into bigger pots, so I'm getting rather full-up as far as containers. I've been collecting actual pots, so we're hauling the buckets and such to recycle.
